The Busiest the Prison Has Ever Been

This Easter, Peterhead Prison welcomed over 1300 visitors, the busiest Easter period in the site’s history. Families came from across the region to take part in our seasonal activities, explore the prison, and experience history in an entirely new way.

From the Easter egg trails to engaging storytelling and immersive interpretation, this was more than just a busy attraction, it was a space alive with laughter, curiosity, and community.

And this success wasn’t a stroke of luck. It’s the result of a fresh, people-first approach introduced by Cove Attractions: building experiences that are welcoming, educational, and above all, meaningful.
