Arriving by car

We have a car park which is free of charge. Parking is available near the onsite cafe. To access, enter the driveway to Peterhead Prison and follow the signs for the café and car park. Blue Badge Holders do not need to display their badges as this is free parking. The car park is open from 10am to 3pm only, please ensure you have vacated the site after this time. Cove Attractions is not responsible for any vehicles parked within the prison walls.

Arriving by train

The nearest Stagecoach bus stop is Peterhead, HM Prison. This bus stop is located directly outside of the building / opposite our main gates.

The nearest train station is Aberdeen, which is 35 miles south of Peterhead and sits next to the main Stagecoach bus depot.

Arriving by coach

If you’re arriving by coach, you will be dropped off outside the front of Peterhead Prison. The coach will pick you up from the same location, outside the prison, after your visit is completed. Your coach driver will provide specific details on the day. parking is available inside the prison walls.  Please enter the through the prison gates and follow parking signs.  There is no designated parking spaces for coaches, therefore, please be mindful of parking for other coaches and cars.
